I am a Clinical Psychology Ph.D. Candidate at Texas Tech University, where I study how various environmental and relationship factors, such as pets, impact pediatric health and developmental outcomes in Dr. Jason Van Allen’s Examining Nutrition, Exercise, and Rest in Growing Youth (ENERGY) Lab. I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Tufts University in 2022, where I studied human-animal interaction in Dr. Megan Mueller’s Tufts Pets and Well-Being Lab as well as at the Tufts Initiative for Human-Animal Interaction. Before transferring to Tufts, I was a student at Los Angeles City College studying psychology.
